im beginning to think that fallout 76 aint such a bad game after all
I've skipped a couple pages but I got a question:
Who is Abby? what was their motivation for killing Joel in the first part of the game? I didn't really play TLOU 1 but I still don't like a character being killed that anti-climatically.
It would've been more interesting to have Abby turn on them later in the game or something after Joel saved them.
Yeah this is spec ops the line electric boogalooPretty sure Joel kills her dad in the first game, he's one of the Fireflies doctors I think. Player has no choice, you have to kill them to proceed
if only if the game could have been about ellie travelling with joel, picking up people to form a safer place along the way, and with that ellie eventually finding out joel sent humanity down the crapper because she reminded him of his daughter, and she has to come to terms with that, be-it getting her own revenge for what she believed to be joels selfishness, or trying to find peace in it
but instead now my group of people are going to get more hate for something that wasn't even true xdddd

they even used joel as promotional material the day the game released
i hate this
NGL using Joel for advertising and making out like he's gonna be a big part of the game only to golf club him to death is dishonest as fuck, I heard/saw about some edited in game shots which are of an older joel/older ellie but in the actual game it's a flashback of TLOU1 Joel and Ellie

Haven't played it, haven't looked into it, but this game in a nutshell reminds me of a 2 week old rebel killing a 2 year rebel and then never flagging back on again.
I'm not in this camp thankfully.still gonna play it though

Not my thing, clearly not made for me.
Don't get me wrong, I love story games - Hell a lot of my favourite games of all time are story based games (Ace attorney, Ghost Trick, Silent HIll 2) but the Last Of Us just isn't my thing.it's w/e, i'm a sucker for story-line games, my roommate is interested, so may as well
i also don't want to get too angry at the game without playing it
