I've skipped a couple pages but I got a question:

Who is Abby? what was their motivation for killing Joel in the first part of the game? I didn't really play TLOU 1 but I still don't like a character being killed that anti-climatically.

It would've been more interesting to have Abby turn on them later in the game or something after Joel saved them.

Pretty sure Joel kills her dad in the first game, he's one of the Fireflies doctors I think. Player has no choice, you have to kill them to proceed

he is the only doctor you have to kill to get to ellie

for abby to work out who this exact killer is by just the name "joel" is insane

if only if the game could have been about ellie travelling with joel, picking up people to form a safer place along the way, and with that ellie eventually finding out joel sent humanity down the crapper because she reminded him of his daughter, and she has to come to terms with that, be-it getting her own revenge for what she believed to be joels selfishness, or trying to find peace in it


but instead now my group of people are going to get more hate for something that wasn't even true xdddd

Haven't played it, haven't looked into it, but this game in a nutshell reminds me of a 2 week old rebel killing a 2 year rebel and then never flagging back on again.

look how they massacred my boy, he was honestly such a good character and i remember when the game first came out when i was 12 me and my friends would talk about him so much and how cool he was

it's dishonest as hell and scummy like 100% they only started the plot to kill joel like 1-3 years ago, and not when they ended the first game

This really seems like one of those forms of media that you anticipated, but cannot pull yourself to finish in fear of massive disappointment.

TLOU was the first game I ever recommended as a 10/10. Ever. Now, into the dust-bin of other television series like the last season of Mad Men, Sopranos, and Lost.I cannot handle the pain of something that was once so good, become my own mental pegging.

Don't get me wrong, I love story games - Hell a lot of my favourite games of all time are story based games (Ace attorney, Ghost Trick, Silent HIll 2) but the Last Of Us just isn't my thing.

I respected the first game a lot, even if I'm not that invested or interested in it.
