If you know Industrial Nightmare (or as it was known later Liver Failure), you will recognize how this game plays immediately. Apparently it was made by old gmod server devs who got sick of the game (don't blame 'em).

Be a shitty ghost freak in what seems to be the last dystopia in the world. Possess human(oid) flesh and fulfill your purpose in this rotting society. Get stabbed to death or shot by a man squealing at you and do it all again. Glory to the Cortex!

I think the wartime factory overshadows all the other prole jobs in terms of fun and excitement pretty hard (which was likely the point). The crowd of workers scrambling for parts and stabbing each other with screwdrivers trying to make the bombs as fast as possible while doctors try to profit from the sidelines is where the game really shines.
I still really like it otherwise, I just wish there were more moments like that than just the one random event.

Scratches some of that old school HL2RP itch (mainly as a rebel main)

Literally roaming the sewers item hunting, and then surfacing to jump isolated and unaware guards and liquidators.
It's a good time, wanna form a nebulous scumbag crew, try and trigger the apocalypse scenario

I'd be down, I ran a Banker cabal working with various dealers, cops and scum to kill other bankers in order to organize price hikes on proles exclusively, caused a "civil disturbance" Nothing a couple of bribed proles and lung punchers can't solve though. And of course as the head of this cabal I got kick ups from merchants that were allowed to sell under my studious watch.

I was playing and there was a corpman union who refused to do any healing unless paid, So as a cortex I ferried bodies to the cult so they would start darkness, Then proceeded to hunt down and gun down 10 proles and a handful of corpsman out of rage (Spared the banker though of course)

A few bankers, and some corrupt controllers could certainly do the work.

I was hired by a banker to protect him and took a cut of 15% of his 30% fees and I could put my money into his bank for free. People got riotous but when you have the bigger stick there wasn't much they could do, I planted evidence on other bankers so I could limit them with no push back and fed bodies to the cult if the amount of rivals got a little out of hand.

Imagine with an organized cabal of nebheads using chaos to make profits, artificially boosting and reducing rot to make a fucking killing with skull sterling
