    News Half-Life 2 Roleplay: After-Life

I was referring to the applied Vorts; I'm not sure how y'all plan on doing the applications though. Personally, I hate the idea of someone sitting in a shop waiting for passersby to come and purchase goods. Is there an alternative? Let's be honest, I don't think many people enjoy sitting around...

    News Half-Life 2 Roleplay: After-Life

@chronos has a good point that steers me towards 5 years. I'm comfortable with 10, but, as others have stated, 20 seems way too far and detached. Also, can Vortigaunt apps not require a backstory that fits the setting per-say, but rather showcase creativity? The apps for this iteration...

    News Half-Life 2 Roleplay: After-Life

For some loot spawns, whether guns, ammo, materials, etc, there should be outposts or overrun bases or locations that have AI enemies (Combine, radicals, rebels, zombies, antlions, etc) where you have to face these enemies to earn that loot placed there every time the items respawn.

    News Half-Life 2 Roleplay: After-Life

Personally would not recommend an external. They bare chances of corruption and deletion from physical trauma, and they are slow. @EXODITE.XXX , I'd recommend an internal SSD. Fast and can hold a lot too without much chance of damage unless you brick your computer. Though, yes, an external is...

    News Half-Life 2 Roleplay: After-Life

Throwing out suggestions to see if some will stick: 1. If there will be a city and an outlands, I believe s2rp within the city's confines- and s2k in the outer areas -better than s2rp for everything. 2. I think Vortigaunts should get a wide array of script-abilities, more than a beam and...

    News Half-Life 2 Roleplay: After-Life

I feel the need to defend them on this point. They both did a great job at trying to hold up the current iteration of HL2RP alongside Ricsow. How is the neglect of their community and staff their fault? Me and several others stuck to this iteration for longer than most did, and these guys kept...

Riders of the Storm - Feedback Thread

Arguing over the physics behind requiring a proper seal or not for efficient gas siphoning was fun. I need a rifle so incidents like that hostage situation can be self-solved lol. Fun day

'Eye of the Storm' - Completed

Day 2 was my last day for this event. It was a unique and fun one, and that was a funny way to get wrote out of existence. Hope day 3 is just as fun! Good job Ricsow

A Day To Remember - Feedback Thread

I enjoyed this event a lot. Definitely were too many people, but we made it work. Nothing like a man coming back from the dead twice, but it's gonna be a joke now. The world building was cool, the fact that more areas are open now is awesome. We're already clued into another event coming later...

    Eternal Light's Vortigaunt Application

Steam name: ΣƬΣЯПΛL LIGΉƬ Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:46229603 Previous experience with Vortigaunt factions: The amount of experience I have with personally playing as a Vortigaunt is limited; but, with the time I've had throughout my role play timeline, I've done very well at portraying...

    ‘The Underground’

Name: Indiana Prichard Age: He Looks to be around his mid 30's, although he could just be worn-down after the war. A bit about yourself: (As you listen to this man, you can clearly hear Southern twang to his voice. He's clearly a country guy- he even looks like it.) "My name's Indiana... but...

    The Prototype (feedback)

I didn't do too much honestly lol. Not due to a lack of effort on your part, but that's just how it went since I was the new guy 😅 In any case, I enjoyed being outside. I really like this map, how things are cut off and set up to direct us to certain places. I enjoy the consequences as well...

    Half-Life: Alyx Official Thread

Finished the game. And the way they wrapped all the events together to fit the story line so perfectly is astonishing.

    Half-Life: Alyx Official Thread

So there are apparently two voices in HL:A. Someone’s YT comment theory: Since there’s time travel, there would be a different voice for a younger Alex. So that would possibly mean that we go back to the cliffhanger that HL2:Ep2 left us at. Plus Eli says the “Close your eyes Honey!” line...
