honestly probably not much different, i don't remember too much stuff in detail now but i'd imagine maybe a couple of structure differences in the organization and, honestly, sticking to like one fucking outpost because Doctor Chad'Vurr-Ahm, Scientist of The Resistance did not need a football field sized laboratoryi can only imagine what godlike shit psi tech could've done now that chezburger has hindsight up his sleeve
I imagine this was sort of the contingency plan for Tel'Vurr if things went southhonestly probably not much different, i don't remember too much stuff in detail now but i'd imagine maybe a couple of structure differences in the organization and, honestly, sticking to like one fucking outpost because Doctor Chad'Vurr-Ahm, Scientist of The Resistance did not need a football field sized laboratory
There was a lot of red tape keeping me from going absolutely bonkers which was probably a good thing (teleporter), i still think a lot of the psi-tech stuff was fun but there were the occasional weird moments that, yes, with hindsight i'd probably change

here's a good example, if i recall this was going to be some sort of shoulder mounted auto-turret
nobody would have liked that, except me, because all i thought of was how cool it would have lookedhere's a screenshot of that one time the kobayashi and the railroad had a meeting and i was politely asked to be an emergency suicide bomber in a large crate just incase things got out of hand![]()
I definitely want a good scene of this in After-Life. We have plans to support research and we'd also like to line up development that can be added when milestones are researched by the community so there'd an actual impact on the world.![]()

kinda miss doing science fiction techno-babble roleplay sometimes
the duality of vurrthe only real things i remember from psi tech was the field lab in the bottom of the sewer on city 8 and how tel'vurr canonically has a storage of reddit posts including peter griffin memes
and the defense against that one OTA raid for the rogue cabinet member
bro they literally use vorts either for janitors or triple A batteries what do you MEANI still disagree with that to this day, they aren't a rebel-puppet and should be able to choose their allies even if they're combine
bro they literally use vorts either for janitors or triple A batteries what do you MEAN
they are telephatically linked !!! they are feeling their kin getting siphoned like batteries and the sponge scrubbing shite off toiletbowl on live vortivision!! if it was any other race / person i would agree but there is no reason for vortigauntsrationality is no basis for the actions a character takes
the world is round, yet some deluded people believe otherwise
any vortigaunt could believe the Combine are there to help them
they'd be wrong, but they can believe it
I suppose it's possible to just torture and mentally obliterate a Vortigaunt to the point of delusion.they are telephatically linked !!! they are feeling their kin getting siphoned like batteries and the sponge scrubbing shite off toiletbowl on live vortivision!! if it was any other race / person i would agree but there is no reason for vortigaunts
Thing is, it was a very grey situation. It wasn't an allegiance thing with the Combine, it was a desire to reduce as much innocent death as possible. Rebels were storming the city, and not just your average John Lambda or Bob Good but genuine militaristic insurgents with a penchant for brutality and a just-as authoritatian reign up their sleeves.bro they literally use vorts either for janitors or triple A batteries what do you MEAN
Brain drilling disconnects them from the Vortessence.they are telephatically linked !!! they are feeling their kin getting siphoned like batteries and the sponge scrubbing shite off toiletbowl on live vortivision!! if it was any other race / person i would agree but there is no reason for vortigaunts
