Sharia law is a set of rules and punishments, not really laws. The Islamic empires specifically the oneheaded by the ummayds were very friendly to other religions, so long as they payed a tax. But this was twisted with people saying that if they don’t pay the tax, that they were killed. Which is incorrect. It just ment they lost their property and what not..
