we get told a semi-autonomous manual labour bot is too unrealistic
uil gets told a supercomputer that can beam into a mobile fully autonomous robot, is EMP, water, and fireproof, alongside being on the same level as OTA to CP's and CAB is lore friendly and realistic
It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are dead!
I like Candle and most of what goes on at UIL, and I stayed publicly softspoken about CASS because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers... But I really don't like the CASS concept or its implications. I didn't really like LAWRENCE either. Feel a bit bad about writing it, because I don't think Candle has done anything that bad with the execution of CASS, but that is how I feel about it.
One thing I don't get is the robot's ties with Proselytes
[A Union Proselyte wearing a military ...] says on proselyte: "CASS, Quinn is returning."
Isn't it supposed to be a UIL servant?
