They knew Brano wasn't going to be able to use his English or people skills to formulate a good enough response either, as soon as they had what they needed they dropped it on the thread, if they really felt threatened they would've made a private PM and dealt with it there. They've also leaked out a fucktonne of other logs out of context where they've gotten a rise out of him through different means.

No one but @Lily has the context to those logs but it doesn't sit right with me either. Taking it at face value it looks really bad, but even knowing how many logs have come out already, would he even have said what he said in an unironic way, the guy's gotta be aware of it at that point.

I don't think anyone expects to see Brano back, and in that sense, they've won. Brano was obviously very dependent of his online life, and valued it deeply.

One of them through another few logs that have dropped also made themselves out to be his girlfriend, and then took the logs that looked most incriminating or strange and unloaded them on different people. There's no context to 99% of them and it was clear enough with the responses we did see that they'd through catfishing cared back at some point. Complete sociopathy.

Really the biggest issue is that leaking it into the screenshot thread was done because there was absolutely no way the community would stomach that. There was no defending Brano or keeping him at that point (he shouldn't have said it and there's no defending it no matter the circumstances) unless you wanted to keep around someone who propositioned a '14 year old'.

It was a no-win situation. Nobody was gonna try and go "man, maybe it's faked?" because at that point you'll get dragged down to. HS were in the same boat - you aren't gonna be known to harbour people who've said that sort of stuff if you are at all sensible.

Look at what happened to people who merely asked to be reasonable about it on the screenshot thread, instant rating spam/"pedo defense force"

I agree with you Powley, it's the view I had from the beginning since it was leaked, just didn't seem right that the person who spams transgender/having STDs chars and does literal shitRP leaked it

I mean there wasn't really any defending it at the time and there's still no defending it because even if he was manipulated you can't take that back. Doesn't take the reveal any less suspicious, it was absolutely done to get a response.

Still doesn’t make sense to me why the people targeting Brano are still allowed on the forums and the server tho, I’d rather not have psychopaths roaming around
