Suggestion 3 of my lockpicks have disappeared since last night because of a laggy, server-side animation

In every situation, I have been lockpicking a car as normal, and the animation for the pick snaps/jumps upwards (faster than normal) and the lockpick vanishes. Is there a way the animation can be made more client-side to avoid this? I'm 900 in the hole as a new player, and it kinda sucks.

I think this could be a bug not a suggestion. I had an issue where the server or my client was in an abnormal FPS state. I attempted to lockpick and the lockpick would be above the bottom of the pin. The pin would still wiggle and the sound would be present but I didn't have an adequate visual indicator for the minigame so I cancelled and held on to the lockpick.
