Currently it appears any animal type has the same weight value, from a coyote to a deer, to mountain lion, it's 4kg for a common pelt and 5kg for a pristine pelt.
Monetary value changes based on animal, so it does largely make small animals not worthwhile, whilst mountain lions and deer the highest priority to bag.
if small critters had a lower base weight, it should help make bagging smaller animals more worthwhile in hunting.
Additionally, I feel the weight difference of pristine and common pelts should be reversed, more rewarding for getting superior pelts.
