short haul pilots are a bit nicer than the long haul ones
for example yesterday we had to wait in the terminal for the plane to come in because it was late, so the captain bought his co-pilot and the 3 of us cabin crew a coffee and a cake each

long haul pilots are mixed, sometimes they’re super nice, other times they’ll order the most expensive stuff on the menu and then make you split the bill rather than them paying for the expensive stuff only they ate/drank
