Best vocals?

Curious to see what you think are the best vocals you've heard. I'd have to say;


Björk has an amazing vocal style, never heard anything like it before or since, this shows it best imo.


Doesn't really need much explaining.

Hayley Williams, Dolores O'Riordan, Conor Oberst and SoKo are some others too.

I really love Alison Mosshart's voice in The Dead Weather. It reminds me a bit of Janis Joplin, just not as whiskey-damaged.

For the most unique voice I've heard...

That definitely goes to Yasuko. Her voice was off-putting at first but I fucking love it now, coupled with the sheer energy in their songs.

This is basically the first time that I've listened to Björk but the singer of Japanese Breakfast kinda sounds like her.
Probably inspired by Björk...


e; Not saying that I think any of these are the best vocals that I've heard, but it's the ones that I enjoy the most - After Jack White of course.

He sings with such raw emotion.
