This isn't a strict format, but these tips will help get bugs solved quicker.
- Make a descriptive title
- Briefly describe what broke. It's a lot easier to refer back to the thread when we know what to look for.
- Describe what you were doing leading up to the bug
- Sometimes this can provide us with clues, even if it doesn't seem like it will.
- Images/videos help
- Media can sometimes explain things much better than words. Shadowplay (or a similar tool) is great for this.
- Logs, logs, logs
- If you see any warnings or errors in the console (F8 key), then paste them in here. You can press the Open log on the right of the text box to open the log file for copying.
- If your game crashed completely, your logs should be saved in
%localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app\logs- paste that in explorer and you should see a bunch of.logfiles. If you are not sure which one is the right one, just zip them all up and PM me on the forums.
