To what extent can your relationship with sapient characters develop, and under what circumstances?:
For humans - if there is no obvious aggression houndeyes will act passively and can accept food/interact in other ways, but cannot be domesticated, and will run/attack if startled.
With vortigaunts - every above is also true but after enough interaction and authorisation from both leads, houndeyes can be gradually domesticated and form a bond with specific vortigaunts.
