So yeah, this was an unexpected thread for me to make, but since there's not much I can personally do to help out, I was wondering if anyone can at least take a look at this.
I'd appreciate no memes or doxxing, please.

TL;DR, long version will be in the link if head staff allow me to post it, my nephew has cerebral palsy, his parents (My brother and his GF) could use the money for SDR surgery since there's no way they can raise it on their own.
Though that I'd ask people here since neb is quite a big community.

@alex @Blackquill @i forgot the other head staff
Just delete the post if I'm not allowed to ask for charity, although considering it's not going to me I'd hope it'd be allowed, didn't find anything about this in the rules.

Don't nebulae this post, that's not what I'm looking for.

Gofund me is probably what you want to set up for this sort of thing, as opposed to simply asking like that - if that gofund me were to be allowed to be posted here, of course.
It's setup, was made by his parents.
Simply asking for permission to post it.

Typically we don’t allow this since there’s no way for us to verify the cause and we don’t want to help a scam. If we can verify it I don’t mind so much, although regardless people could PM you for a link.

Been up for a while, if I was trying to swindle people this'd of been a real hassle to donate 3k to myself.
Everything you need to verify it is on that link, feel free to remove this post if it's not up to your standards, just hoping to help where I can, since there's not much else I can do.

It's so twisted that you are forced to pay for the surgery on your own. Regardless, I really wish I could help but as a student, budget is tight and every single cent is necessary, I hope you and your family can get through this.

Seconding this.
I'd throw in any money I could, been considering throwing in even a fiver just to help, think I can spare that much.
In general though, it is just really sad to hear. And I know how it is because I have family that also have not one but two children with similar disabilities. I'm glad we're in Sweden though, and that the state pays for surgery and treatment for them, wish it was like that over there too.

Eitherway, I wish them the best.

Cheers dude, even a little bit helps.
Pretty sure there's a way to give £2.50 extra with gift aid somehow, but that might be limited to the UK.

No problem if you can't help, thanks for your thought, anyway.

had a family member affected by it in the past

id prefer not to hear about it happening to the lad so im willing to do what i can
He's doing pretty good so far, he's had chance to meet some amazing people.

Thanks, everyone who's donated, hell, everyone who even looked at the page. Making this 30k goal seem a lot more reachable.
