Anyone here into Geocaching, or similar location-based activities?

I've been recently getting back into it after like 8 years, and it's great to see there are still plenty of active players and caches around where I live.

EDIT: Very late edit, but if the game sounds interesting, do NOT use the official app. It's a scam that will try to sell you premium by restricting things that have always been available for free on the website or unofficial apps, such as c:geo. There are still reasons to pay for premium and caches that are exclusive to it, but seeing caches of all difficulties isn't one of them, for example.

So treasure hunting but with no treasure?
Well, for the most part. The physical caches you find often contain little knick-knacks and such you can trade your own stuff for. And among these sometimes are people's personal "signature items" you can collect, but that depends on the country (most often personalized wooden/metal tokens). But yeah, it's mostly about finding the caches themselves, perhaps occasionally going on an event or such

Oh yeah, and trackable items are a thing, those are moved from cache to cache instead of traded and kept
