Mouse fucking (semi) died with no reason :(((

As title implies, one day as I was using my PC, my mouse just began to randomly stop working/disconnect mid stuff and outside of games too, before it happened it worked 100% perfectly fine without issue, only thing I noticed is, the light underneath my mouse does seem to dim/turn off during these moments? I think? but otherwise? No fucking clue what happened, help?

I had taken a look at it before but I'll take a look again to double check and report in the morning my findings, thank you for replying and trying to help c:

get a new one on lock now before you waste time browsing
or just replace it
but the first step is to test what you can, connection, different USB ports, ensuring the cable isn't super taut
next is to just jiggle the cord

The wires seem all fine on my end at least, and all other ports resulted in same (I did notice yesterday the frequency of it disconnecting became tad less but still happened) I think I might need to replace it all together :/
