literally the owners are pulling off the scummiest of scummy tactics

their parent company bans paid servers so they made entry free TECHNICALLY by having regular apps

which they never fucking open

The server resets every 1 PM apperantly, which technically gives anyone a chance.

hes talking about getting whitelisted to the server

to even get a chance to get in you need to fill out an application (or presumably get invited as a streamer), but those applications never open but you can pay to send in ur donator application

they're basically only accepting streamers now

i mean is it really surprising

its been the biggest thing on twitch for like 2 months now and it has had periods of massive activity for the past few years, im sure when your servers exposed to hundreds of thousands of people there are still gonna be a few rich dudes in there that are gonna wanna get in, they probably still get a shit ton of apps

i think their base donation is something like $15 dollars which honestly isnt a lot, but that just means your app gets reviewed, the more you donate the more your app gets priorty

so you can imagine the amount of apps they get

The staff member of NoPixel, that made the old videos on how to connect to the server, is the one that mostly deals with streamer invites. That can also be seen on the message logs on their Discord server.

im pretty sure its cause its getting impossible for players to get in now even with their 160 player cap

if u aint got priority and arent lucky enough to get in during a reset good luck lmao there goes your cash, ive read some shit about players not being able to connect at all a few years ago when it was also pretty popular (albeit their player cap was a bit lower then)

I'm not welcome to their Discord or Forums either. And not because I played on their server, it was because of a whitelist application I made when they were open for all.

Lemme say a few good things about NoPixel GTA RP.
It's great for people to watch on Twitch, as in it being entertaining to those that like it.
It could offer a great oppurtunity for new people to start as streamers.
And I think, it is being worked on the server consistently.


Not all streamers get granted high priority, even those you expect to. But that can change at anytime. The fact


If NoPixel would only have players with priority, it automatically becomes detrimental for certain in their own community, because then nobody would have a big chance. So there is no way, that they do only have people with priority. But who knows.

Maybe, once someone with non-priority gets in they automatically gain priority. It would be dumb if a streamer meets someone and never sees him again because it's so hard to join for them.
