I suggest a method for Police Officers to analyze weapons to gather evidence on if they have been recently used.
Brass Knuckles, Bat, Knife -> Could potentially find blood on it to ID the victim that got stabbed by it (or what I enjoy, compare it to a blood sample of the victim to see if it matches). Generally though at minimum a "This weapon has blood on it/was recently used"
Firearms, Glock, Colt, Hunting Rifle etc -> This weapon has GSR on it, at best can only identify it was recently fired.
