Suggestion: remove stormfox
Why it would be worth adding:
we keep the time of day paused all the time because the day/night cycle makes the screen unbearably dark for many, myself included, and i can count on one hand the amount of time we’ve used it’s unique weather effects,

literally the worst addon on all of gmod, a plague, a cancer
i've literally never used it in a single one of my KINO KINO EPIC events because you can achieve better effects without it completely ruining your skybox and breaking interior lighting (and exterior lighting) ((and every bit of fucking effort anyone's put into a map by turning it either fullbright or a fuckugly low-contrast with deep, impossible shadows))

its so fucking garbage its the worst addon ever made because people keep gulping it down their little gullets like its a necessity to make any good-looking map into hot dogshit because HAHA RAIN CYBERPUNK KINO fuck you

i think the worst part about stormfox honestly is just how much of a pain in the fucking ass it is to uninstall

i basically have to cauterize entire portions of my hard drive just to remove it from my game because even after unsubscribing, uninstalling, and manually removing it from my game via the files IT FUCKING PERSISTS

Don't forget to add an ambient rain sound effect in the background.

Literally doing this is more impactful and immersive than seeing actual gmod rain. Without tanking performance.

I've personally seen Stormfox 1 and 2 be used in the past on other servers and it always had mixed results based on the map. If the map has explicit support for it, it can work amazingly, but for most of the maps on the workshop, it will mess them up and ruin the vibe.
That being said, I personally use Atmos for rain effects because it does a decent job, doesn't ruin the map's lighting (too much), and isn't bloated with 100 other features that I don't want or need to have.

Yeah but we haven't managed that a single time

when it has support, it works as well as a regular skybox (and doesnt improve a fucking thing visually against bogstandard placement lighting)
when it doesnt have support it's the most dogshit addon ever concieved, engineered in a lab by a team of elite monkey scientists (in labcoats) to be the least functional, most performance-ruining, map-breaking piece of malware ever made. created by head monkey scientist Dr. Mon Cuey as a social experiment to see what depraved depths people would go to in order to tear down the original works of any .vmf creators in a motivated hate-crime attack due to his innate want for terrorism within the limited extension allowed in his monkey enclosure. revenge against the people who created him and gave him sentience just so he could toil away making video game modifications
