The Siberian Institute
We are the Siberian Institute, an organisation that wishes to kickstart the technological advancements that once halted in 2002. It is in our interest to secure old and newer technologies for the purposes of research and development, as well as safekeeping away from hostile actors that plague the remnants of the Old World.
With the fruitful cooperation between the Siberian Institute and the Division 52nd. It was possible to acquire the necessary research equipment and manpower to conduct research operations within the regions of Odessa and the surrounding areas. Despite the disruptions caused by espionage, sabotage attempts, and direct attacks against the Siberian Institute; the organisation continues to stand firmly on its foundation.
As part of achieving this milestone, we sought further support from Lambda by exchanging goods, research information and objects of interests. Allowing us to establish a permanent research facility designated Евро-01 within the region of former Slovakia, Prešov.
The Siberian Institute now holds the basic resources required to begin establishing groundwork for what used to be known as 'The Internet'. Over the coming years, that is assuming that the support from Lambda remains stable, the project aimed at reconnecting the world through a virtual experience will commence. Drastically improving our methods of communication and research in the process.
Nearby research-based cell groups that are affiliated with the Siberian Institute will be prioritised in being connected to the network and subsequently will be granted partial access to the public domain database containing some of our research data. This research data is not to be distributed outside of the network without direct authorisation from Aleksandr himself.

It was brought to my attention that spherical orb-like entities were following individuals that happened to stumble upon one while traversing through the region.
The entity resembles an animal-cell that is capable of floating roughly a 0.5 metres above the ground. The anatomy of the entity is yet to be properly documented, however, given that the shell of the entity is transparent enough for its internals to be observed, its organs have a vague resemblance to a human corpse, or even a large human embryo.
It should be noted that these entities can come in a variety of sizes with the smallest one roughly having the height and width of 0.5 metres, and it can extend to as far as 5 metres.
The entity appears to be incapable of speech known to man. However, the entity does appear to have the ability to replicate sounds, as evident through one particular specimen which was capable of emitting sounds similar to an airship. I will need to perform further testing before I can properly conclude whether this ability is unique or consistent across its species.
Furthermore, the entity is capable of dissolving carbon-based material within its internal organs, as tested by feeding it some headcrab meat. Hence, the aforementioned comparison to an animal-cell; its shell vaguely resembles a cell membrane given the process of feeding it. The process of dissolving within this entity is quite slow, and it does not necessarily pose a threat to a conscious human that may stumble upon it.
As far as my knowledge stands, there is no documentation, rumour or discussion of the entity consuming human-flesh. It is yet to be discovered whether these particular entities are capable of hostile action, but as of current, they remain incredibly docile even when met with hostility.
The entity is incredibly fragile like a bubble, and it can be destroyed through small applications of force - such as punching it.

Me and Quannata happened to stumble upon each other while traversing near the Police Station and exchanged a few words before we were greeted by a Protozen (known as Exhibit A). It was very clear that both of us had a clear interest in these Protozen, and I shared some documented information about their behaviour.
This did not take long for the question of consciousness to be brought up. As a result, Quannata attempted to use their vortessence in an attempt to communicate and understand the Protozen, and discovered a few interesting details.
The Protozen, as a matter of fact, do have a form of consciousness. It would appear that they are mostly curious about our presence, and it would appear that they are observing us. We could not establish their intentions from this experience alone,but Quannata suggested that perhaps the Protozen may be connected to the underground world-ending entity that was stated in the previous log.
Furthermore, the Protozen performed a type of mitosis, asexual reproduction, or simply split right in front of us into three identical entities. It may have been a coincidence that the Protozen happened to split into three entities, each attaching to the individuals present around the Protozen, but this discovery provided more questions than answers behind their curious behaviour and existence.
Moreover, when the region was experiencing a heavy storm and apparently a form of aurora borealis concurrently. The Protozen levitated high into the sky, roughly 50 to 120 metres from the ground, and maintained its position unhindered by the strong winds. This is the first occurrence in which the Protozen altered its behaviour outside of following and observing creatures on land.
