Historical settings are great, personally, I don't think I can ever go back after flying mounts, beats and magic

But I wouldn't mind another Shogun game

yes. Battlefleet gothic armada was similar but it was only ships and on a much smaller scale, 40k could be amazing

If Warhammer III does well the next Warhammer game that Creative Assembly makes will certainly be a 40k game. I don't remember where, but I know one of the executives or developers said that they wouldn't be averse to the idea at all
