I bought myself a 4k monitor for gaming two days ago and I'm amazed how much different it is compared to a 1080p. Does anybody else use one and what do you think of them in comparison to other monitors or for PC gaming? Or say what you think about your current monitor regardless.

True, except those ROG are terribly expensive. I'm just gonna wait a couple of years; the price of those things will drop just like what happened to TVs

I got a curved 1080p 60hz monitor with freesync, its pretty damn good and honestly I think the curved screen is worth it + it was only 150 quid which is pretty good for a standard monitor anyway.
I've only got a 1060 and it runs flawlessly I never drop below 60fps on Ultra settings but to be honest I haven't really tried it on a super GPU demanding game yet I haven't had the guys to try lol. I've heard quite a lot of good stuff about curved monitors, is there much difference in gameplay in comparison to a flat one?

36" Samsung TV, it's 60hz and 1080p, other than that I know fucking nothing about this thing.
Damn, man. My monitor's 28" and I sometimes find that a bit too big. God help your eyes playing on a 36". I bet it looks pretty sweet though at 60hz and 1080p.

Some games yes, other games I find it absolutely awful -- it's probably nicest to play in fps shooters. And if you think 36" is too big there are 40 inch curved monitors
