Is XCOM 2 worth it?

If you enjoyed Enemy Unknown - yes. If you haven't played enemy unknown yet, get that because IMO It's the better of the two.

It's different to XCOM 1.

In XCOM 1 you could spend 10 turns planning a perfect assault with no flaws on an alien spaceship.

In XCOM 2 you automatically lose after 6 turns, afaik.

ok rule 1. keep ur guys in cover and dont use cars as cover very much becuase those will deal much damage
2. get assaults, get hit and run, lighting reflex and the one that gives you another movement point when youve killed someone within a certain ranage
3. get snipers, atleast 1-2 and give them opposite skills i.e long sights and shoot after moving but not full opposite skills
4. heavies are good for suppression and killing through walls
5. research armor and guns first
6. psi operatives arent worth it until you have good armor and shit, play cool with what you research.
7. i found gene more useful than mec's

I completed xcom 2 within a few days. And that's saying something considering i never even finished the first game.

Xcom 2 is great but I wouldn't buy the dlcs for it. Finished the game on iron man in a week after I got the hang of what I should prioritize on the avenger.

The last mission is annoying as shit though, almost lost but managed to save it with my main guy.

Plus I take more time to think about my moves here than in EW + EU cause one bad move and you're F.
