Much to my surprise, WW3RP did not become a real thing within our 9 years here.

I was expecting to meet you all in combat by this point when I was younger

"coals" I radio in, my military training, gone, my roleplaying instincts kicked in.

My squad locks in
Two of them run to S2K the enemy
we attempt covering fire but it's no use
One runs out to 'recover' the modded m4
he's dead

There's two of us left
The enemy surround us, I call in for a QRF, I never learnt what that meant

my CO, who's hated me since he learnt I was a WW3RP admin, responded
"Sorry, we're on NLR"

Well fuck, 9 years in this place, what a wild ride. Started on WW3RP back in LP around 2014/2015 not knowing a single thing about RP and over time, as I learned to RP, I learned to appreciate the people in this wonderful community, despite all the ups and downs that are normal to exist.

It's now time for the 10 years, a full decade, of Nebulous!

It's surreal to see everything so quiet when you remember it for its almost raging, passive aggressive loudness
The Lab keeps stating there will be no reductions in force, but rumors are surfacing that retiring technical and operations staff will not be replaced.

Overhead funding for procurement and travel is on the chopping block.

And per an Executive Order last week, all environmental regulations - where most of my team gets their regulatory backing - will be sunsetted by 2026.
