My opinion is thus:

I'm worried for @Nicrobe and @rang, because in the space of 2 or so hours, Turkey has gone from meh-stability to a state of almost full-on Civil War between two forces that are completely unbalanced and one-sided. The police are basically being sent to their death, and the Military's having a right old time fucking helicopter-running governmental buildings. My dream scenario would be all of this working out with no deaths on our end, and with the Country benefiting from this coup in the long run. What I don't want to see is a HL2-esque situation where the Military takes complete control of the Country for ages and basically slaves everyone because they realized they just fucked all political figures in the ass and destroyed all chances of Turkey becoming a politically powerful country by literally killing off/hostaging their own political figures. Having rang constantly ring on about how he's literally a few kilometers or so from gunfire doesn't help me remain calm whatsoever, and I'm sitting here in the UK, wearing a fucking bandana around my head at 10:40PM currently shitting myself over the thought of World War 3 possibly happening from an escalation.

So I made a joke to calm myself down.
