For the most part yeah. The manga's definitely worth a read, but as I said - don't expect any real conclusion or any new chapters when you reach the end of the currently released manga chapters

So anime > manga

You will eventually probably fall into the rabbithole of binge-reading Berserk chapters once you've watched the anime, though. I haven't watched or read Berserk but I have a feeling that that's the type of series it is.
