me and like 3 of my swedish friends all got it today, so i think it drops a bunch of keys in the same region at the same time
if any germans seem to be getting keys check your mail n stuff i guess, apparently twitch notifications aren't always reliable

I know this sounds pretty biased which it is because I have been playing this game for a over a week straight and it's the only game I launch. I want a little bit more research done on this before I jump to conclussions. Yes they can see the specs of your PC and get info to that information.

They can also hardware ban cheaters so they can't make multiple accounts.

I wouldn't believe everything just yet. I believe RIOT games and VALORANTs devs and I don't think they want to do anything shady with their anti cheat program. If you believe that to be different sure and I get people not wanting to install a anti cheat that runs on their PC 24/7 but yeah. I don't care about my privacy that much and I think others will care more.

Just gonna follow the conversations online and see what the statements are about VANGUARD.

It's not the first. ESEA does this, and I believe so does Battleye in terms of Arma.

ESEA was literally caught mining bitcoin w/ their anticheat and battleye/easy anticheat only initialize while the game is running, which is far better

Anticheats have to be rootkits because the cheats are rootkits, literally any anticheat worth its salt has kernel-level privileges. You can hold riot accountable if they do any big nonos. Cheat makers, not so much

Honestly, all they really needed to do was make bans more severe rather than create a rootkit anti-cheat. HWID bans are the real stepping stone, and will probably stop a lot of people from cheating.

honestly, if it is spyware (and I doubt it) and they do anything illegal, that's just fuel for a class action lawsuit so you might get money, and if they don't get sued most likely they aren't doing illegal, now if they start mining bitcoin and using more ram we are going to have problems.
