Get a fuel scoop for the love of god

And if you happen to be stranded without fuel, contact the fuel rats.

Holy shit its so fucking complicated and annoying

watch a 30 minute tutorial, alright

find a planet ring with painite okay site says this id the closest one

19 fucking jumps and a refuel later sell my cobra III for an adder and upgrade it as recommended

fly over to the planet, spend 20 minutes figuring out how to scan it, go towards a painite spot

ok lets start mining, realize i didnt buy limpets, fuck

fly over to the nearest station 3 systems over, struggle to find out how to buy limpets

fly back over to the ring, collector limpets wont fucking fire???

spend 40 minutes fucking around online, no results and find out for some fucking reason the controller wasnt powred alright

send a collector limpet out to test, it flies into fucking space somewhere, send a prospecter limpet out, i dont know how to check whats in the asteroid, get told i needed to target it, fuck

send another prospector limpet out, it flies off, out of limpets and nearest station is 3 systems over, close the game and cry

i started playing at 11am, its 2pm now

three hours of fucking around and i couldve made bank through other means

Anyway if you want to make money and you have a good amount of time.

Get a ship with a good jump range, get a Detailed Surface Scanner or Full Spectrum Scanner (DSS will make you more money but costs a bit more time) and a fuel scoop then use this tool:

to plan a road between to places (or go circular) and scan the planets they give. I made a good amount of starting money with this.

That was my second issue. I didn't have friends to play with.

Took me 5 hours grind when they had double Rank XP, it definetelly became easier

That's good.

My main demotivation for playing it again (I do own it on PC) was the fact that I had so much progress on PS4 and didn't want to go through it all again. I looked for transfer options but man, It ain't worth transferring if it just moves your credits.

Wish they had a cross-save system like Destiny.

After you complete the scanning you continue to your next destination on the road, after you've done ALL the scans you go to a station with a cartographer and sell the data.
