The spread is significantly higher than the MP-153, meaning that with Magnum buckshot rounds you can literally hose down someone piss easy.

You can take on Tagilla with 6 fucking shells.

yeah iirc you get better gear (and other benefits, like AI scav coorperation i believe?) as your karma goes up

Yeah, I've had LOADS of interactions with friendly scavs. It genuinely made me feel amazing.

Except when you get the sly ones that don't give a shit about karma.

honestly screw woods solo but grinding solo scav kills on shoreline rn got me having panic attacks

Max karma aka standing with fence is 6

At max you get a whole fucking lot better gear (and I guess better loot you spawn with like keys or labs cards.) scavs will follow you in some cases and will legit even come to your aid if you’re fighting a PMC

Bosses will become neutral to you, but I think that isn’t max you probably will see at like 2-3 that they won’t fucking fuck you on sight

Fence will sell you better shit and you’ll even get to purchase items like uninsured gear that you lost in raid if you were killed

Oh and your scav timer will go down to like 6 minutes instead of 20 at max rep, you’ll get better items from scav cases and you’ll have to spend less money and it’ll be done quicker

This also means if you have intel lvl3 your scav timer will go down to only 3 MINUTES

Take this all with a grain of salt tho Nikita said he’s actively changing up all this shit too so this won’t be relevant for long prolly

Yeah, but I think the best part of all of it?

You don't get doinked on sight by other scavs (usually)

factory is probably the worst map for scav on scav stuff, you just get people camping corridors and raining down fire upon the flood of scavs

the people that are dedicated to killing other scavs on sight aren't really affected by scav karma imo lol, you can just do a car extract and get an instant +0.2, 10x that of what you get for killing a scav (0.02)

car extracts giving lots of karma is nice but imo there should be a much larger penalty on scav karma for scav kills

car extracts do go down the more you use them though
the exception is if you swap maps, each extract has its own meter that goes down with use
