supposedly even though it saves about a second a lap it hasn't helped and arguably has worsened the bouncing the cars get down the straights, it's fine during testing but on a 60+ lap race, I don't think the drivers would appreciate it

FIA have also said they'll ban any loopholes either pre or mid-season and whatnot that gives any team a significant advantage, so I'm not too worried about it if merc is a mile ahead of everyone
