If I see any sort of 'furry' or 'femboy' or 'anime' restaurant chain it's being burned to the fucking ground

quoting for the inevitable ban request

these words are going to upset so many people and i can't wait

oh you already missed that whole debacle, didn't you?

"guys plz let me oocly bully ppl i don't like by forcing permas on them at my own convenience" was basically the whole thing

Oh also, on another note I played a bunch of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines after Alfabusa's "Hunter: The Parenting" series became a thing and so I genuinely considered learning basic mandarin to try and do something like Tseng, or maybe Mr. Ox or Lu Fang, because they seem like great characters that seem like they'd be incredible fun to roleplay as, but the idea of doing a pretty fuckin stereotypical/racist chinese accent kinda dissuades me from the idea tbh. Like I was thinking of a chinese takeaway where your fortune cookies could have baggies of drugs in or something, or maybe you order a specific combo meal and get a gun or something, idk

What'd y'all think?

@MrWong We need an executive decision on this.

It'd be cool I think, just steer away from the whole accent thing. If you can speak Mandarin to add a more realistic touch, go for it but if not, who cares, live your RP dreams.

So will it work similarly to WW3RP in terms of PK's, now i know you said there aren't any, but obviously it'll be down to the player when they want to retire and end their character i presume?

Yes. Only the person playing the character can decide when to perma their character. No one else.

Don't disturb the dead, they've moved onto a better place

I figured the same, but ultimately doing a chinese character with a slightly northern english/blended american accent with zero hint of any chinese would be kinda weird, idk. That's why I kinda considered picking up some mandarin to kinda have it work a little better.

-100% IRL, but Mao Zedong lives within my soul

Trust me, if you want to make it work you'll make it work and no one will pick up on it unless you like, make it a point for people to pick up y'know? If you watch NP, Buddha plays a Chinese-Brazilian man who owns a Chinese restaurant and doesn't speak any Mandarin and doesn't speak in an accent (though he did use to do a voice that had like no bass to it and used some Jamaican phrases), no one bats an eye.

I'll have a look, but @alex/@Jamie what'd y'all think? Okay/not okay?

You're gonna want to self PK when you're in debt from Wayne Kings parking tickets.
