Suggestion require owning a lockbuster to break into APC's

Suggestion:
allow people to hijack combine APC's provided they have a lockbuster on them

Why it would be worth adding:
so certain people don't have aneurysms when rebels bother to resist
encourages cops to not leave their APC unguarded/unwatched
stops people from (reasonably) complaining if more people try to attempt grand theft auto

lockbusters exist to chew through biolocks, people shouldn't need 346372 character auths to breach into one vehicle
as it is, nothing stops cops from doing the reverse - barring certain RL's who shut down creative ideas lol

also this is not a dig at @Kafe, just me wanting some precedent so we get less bitching on the forums

Isn't there already a script for breaking through door locks and force field projectors? Could update that one to include APC lock.

Idk what you want to achieve with these kind of comments other than stirring shit up. It's not about a creative idea or not, it's about the vehicle not even being possibly locked (only the hatch) and staff bending an existing thing without any kind of warning to the players of said faction, essentially making it unfair for them.

If you want APCs to be possible to be locked by CPs and lock-busted by rebels, that's alright, I want the same as I think it's a good idea. But nobody needs this kind of shit just to blame CPs later when they defend themselves against these kinds of unnecessary jabs.

that was about something else RL's went ham on, slightly related but uninvolved with the incident behind this suggestion.

I don't have a big vested interest in this discussion myself, so no offense considered East.

Out of town atm but If i was to give a rough suggestion, a agreed apon game rule would be good, lock busters are cool but they've been rare, only ever seen one myself in original helix dev logs.

Allow the ability for people to take that risk and potentially succeed
Stealing an apc was a exciting moment, but ultimately knew it would not be something we could keep hold of and the combine would raise hell to reclaim it, as they should. hence why i drove it into the lake.
