It really is crazy how good things like AI voices, pictures, and writing are getting. I was looking back on my phone at 2-ish years ago when deepfakes were just becoming popular. I wonder what we'll see in another five and how that may influence shit like HL2RP lmao

I know Hawke's server HL Synapse has been using some AI voices for Breen to announce lockdowns and shit. Looking back on some of the stuff from ~4 months ago, you can already see how much the technology has improved and sounds so much less like an AI generated voice.
