Bug Safe Cracking Tool Broken

When attempting to crack a safe with the tool you get the "You cannot do that right now" message 1-5 times in a row, tried multiple different safes in different areas of the map and the result was the same. Issue persisted after full restart (disonnect + fully closing fivem.)

Don't think this is broken as this appears when trying to do other crime such as breaking into houses, I think it just means not enough cops are on (which sucks if you play later on or earlier on in the day)

Yeah afaik this is one of the anti-farm measures and it's intentional, so that people can't just log on at 5am and do illegal stuff with zero risk.

Yeah it's fun having to wait hours and hours for enough cops to be on just so you can farm your $500 from the robbery

I don't imagine it would be very fun either if someone just grinded stores without any ramification when the LSPD are offline either

I spoke to Alex privately about this and he said it was already reverted and was only intended to be temporary. I've expressed to him my frustrations and concerns about this restriction and I think we're on the same page now.

That was regarding house robberies, I was already aware of the concerns or criticisms that would follow of the restriction when they were implemented which is why they're not intended to be permanent solutions to people absolutely farming certain mechanics.

Yes it's a balance issue. Don't want to burden criminals just because there aren't enough cops on to enforce certain things.

no incentive to explore the crime mechanics if you can't touch it at all because all the cops are asleep

I know, that's why I want to implement things that take longer to do rather than force you to leave it alone.

PD is definitely hiring players in different time zones but yeah.

tbh i don't think atm there really is much of a population during those timezones to pull from for recruitment.

just need more people in general.
unfortunately last night it was just 3-4 peeps.

It's likely a self fulfilling cycle where criminals aren't able to do some crime mechanics late at night so cops have much less to do.

It's fine, we'll work to implement changes that slow the player down in other ways.
