HOLY FUCKING SHIT my literal first character (Joseph D. Kane) - literally a Command and Conquer copy of Kane, just without the charisma because I was like 15/16 at the time when I first joined LOL

reminds me how I accidentally made a surface rebel group, but for some reason the underground rebels on Clockwork didn't like us, so they put us on an embargo and tried destroying us. didn't matter in the end because a random dude shotcopped and caused my whole group to die (and then it was taken over by femreb ERPers, so...)

Cicada Campaign or whatever was the name lol, still though, absolute good memories and nostalgia rising

Reminds me of the very start of Helix 1 where I made a group with a couple of random people at like Day 1 of the server, then I logged off for the night
The day after a new char from one of the people comes up to me and tells me in LOOC that all of them went and started a riot when I logged off and all of them got PKed

It's sad seeing that because pretty much none of those servers are around anymore except superior/mall of the dead, which is basically a husk now. Was one of the better ZS experiences.

i dont remember what PERP stands for but do i remember playing a lot of it. does anyone have any recollection of when the PERP era was, and what the big servers were called. same goes for "CityRP", which was basically an older PERP with a jazz music loading screen and very windows XP user interface

pulsar effect ran from like, early 2009 until midway through 2011
they ran numerous servers
2 rp servers using perp(which was shut down when they changed the gamemode to perp2)
1 gmod racer server
1 tf2 tower defence server
1 sandbox server
1 resident evil server
this is from what i can remember

in the end hunts and royalmess decided to shut the community down because they had enough of the general gmod playerbase, financial loss, constant ddos/gamemode leaks from numerous individuals/communities and the constant strain running a community provides
