i do miss hl2rp sometimes but i realize it's just my nostalgia looking back with my rose tinted glasses. still need to make peace with the idea i won't ever experience something as large in scale and as fun. i did like cityrp a lot and it left me feeling the same feel when I played those super old city MMOs
There's nothing quite like peak HL2RP, to be fair. I don't know if we'll ever see another roleplay-focused game where you have 100 players in a server, rubber-banding around the map like they're half-dismantled jenga towers, simply enjoying the experience.
Aneurism IV comes close but it's too much like DarkRP, very little roleplay. Still good, but it scratches a different kind of itch to HL2RP.
