People used it to dig up dirt on others, along with there being posts in there from a different time of the internet where people said things that may be regrettable in the current year.

If I could scan the old posts and have them flagged for potential problems it wouldn't be so bad but I don't want people that have left the community or gaming or whatever to then have their past edgy posts come back to haunt them, it's not so bad if it's looking at your own.
