yes but if i want to get an i7 7700 then ill be fucked since i read on my current CPU that it is an AM3 socket, meaning my motherboard must have AM3 socket, and an i7 7700 uses an LGA1151 socket, so ill need a new motherboard which will need a new PSU which will need A NEW FUCKING EVERYTHING IM FUCKED I DONT HAVE THAT KINDA MONEY HELPI had a problem with extreme overheating and being able to play games I previously had no problem playing on max
The issue resolved itself when I upgraded my CPU more so my GPU

gpu is a msi 1070 with 8gb vram
old specs was an i3 with a 670
if you get an i7 you'll be good for the next couple of years so it is a worthy investment
