Identity - Anyone waiting for it?

A kinda life-simulator-esque MMORPG in long-time development. Unsure how long it's been in the works, but over 15K people have already pledged over 600 thousand dollars to the cause, so they really can't afford to go bankrupt and piss off a really patient, large group of pre-orderers. It was even on Kickstarter, apparently (not anymore, though).

Something I found ages ago, that a friend just sent me. It reminded me of it and when I saw the progress of the first module, I instantly bought 'Founder' to get beta access and because it's heavily discounted until the first module is out. I can't be asked to write down everything about it, nor the entire details of what modules are, everything's on the page, damn it. Give it a read if you're curious. :'P

Anyway, anyone looking to play it once it's out? Maybe even when just the first module is out? Would be fun to have people to play it with, even if the modules are just like a sorta 'trial' version of the game, only letting you explore a certain area (or several?) and play with certain features until they've refined the whole game.

In all honesty, I think this will last as long as EURP on LemonPunch.

It's not fun to play a game about just living everyday life. HL2RP is fun because it's life in a dystopia, this just seems a little too bland and boring.

You probably didn't read through my page entirely, or the link I posted. Give it a read, read every single page (not necessarily the 'Community' page) and you might change your mind. Secondly, this isn't roleplay. You can probably roleplay, but that's not the main factor of it.

I'm really looking forward to it, seems like a life simulator with the freedom and speed of a video game where you can do crazy shit and fuck people over or you can contribute to virtual society (tm) and amass power and income at a slower but more stable rate.

It's probably also gonna have a yuuuge RP potential, but that's not what I'm interested in.

Which is a relatively short period of time in consideration that it is an indie title of grand scale and quality.

Take note, games take a long time to develop. Identity seemed o want to be slightly transparent with its development, but for some reason has relucted to in recent time. This doesn't necessarily mean the game is dead or full steam ahead, just keep your eye out for the future
