AoT S2 for me was.... fairly interesting.
I liked it, but I personally kinda disliked how they brought in so much new lore in like 3 days. Like holy, they changed our entire viewpoint on titans in 3 episodes. Talk about surprises.

Me and @TEA Have watched all of season 1 and 2 together and we can definitely say that this has been a pretty fucking good season and show in particular.

F.U.C.K Wonderwoman and other films that follow the trend of making women heroes nowadays. Mikasa literally kills titans, gets her ribs crushed in and still has enough force to tell Eren to calm his tits. Now THAT'S how you empower women characters.

On the topic of Eren, he is such a little bitch. (Spoiler, duh) There's a cutscene where he's going mental at Rheinhard while on a tree and suddenly remembers that his mom told him to "Learn to control yourself". LITERALLY THE NEXT THING HE DOES is the EXACT opposite of that(goes back to REEE'ing). For fuck sake, Eren.

I think this season was very good, though I do think they tried to cram in too much detail into too few episodes (Ymir's backstory, Krista's backstory, titan origin, titans within the walls, on and on). I wish they'd had as many episodes as the first season; maybe then we would've gotten to enjoy the careful, paced out dispatch of details we got in Season 1. Nonetheless, very good season. Favorite parts:

The Colossal Titan falling apart on top of Eren
Erwin continues being a bad ass leader even when his arm has been bitten off two seconds earlier
Scenes showing cadets in training (I loved these in S1, and thought the winter training and combat training shown this season was good too)

Very Subtle, however During 0:19-0:26 the Main force look forwards, obviously with the scouts. Ymir and Historia look uncertain and look around, obviously having a hidden past, and Reiner, Bert turn their backs to the rest of the group following annie. Also throughout the show, they are always seen together.
