What is this?
My friends and I are hosting an online CS:GO tournament as a part of our economics class-project.

How does it work?
By depositing a CS:GO key you enter the tournament roster. The winner gets sixty percent of the deposited revenue. The key has to be deposited a week prior to the tournament.

When is it?
The 23rd of September.

Drop a comment or send a PM if this seems interesting or if you have any questions.

You keep on competing in 1v1 matches until you're in the grand final
So it's basically ONE round with you against another guy and when you win that you fight another guy, right?

Oh and, what sort of key do we get? Is it the newest one? Spectrum?

That depends on the keys that have been deposited. We will choose the keys appropriate for the prize, but we will prioritize handing out the newer keys if possible.

Players are free to donate any key they wish, which makes it hard to know in advance exactly how the prize pool will look.

this sounds scammy and i doubt anyone will join because

a) you don't mention what's happening with the other 40% of keys (i presume this is going towards you for no defined reason)
b) alot people won't join because it actually costs something to play a game you already paid fooooor.

just stating my opinions
