My beard has a patch because someone ripped a bunch of hairs out of it at judo (randori)
Judo is grappling - means in Japanese "the gentle way". Kicks and strikes aren't allowed. I was holding a guy down and choking him and he reached up and grabbed my beard instead of my kit by accident
