But then again while Prospekt was canned as a bad game it didn't get hate primarily because it stuck to what the HL series was. HDTF gained publicity then shat in the face of that at every turn on top of what the former devs said and the shithole of a 2016 teaser.

If nothing else if this game cans as hard as we expect this studio is likely just gonna try to cut their losses and fade into obscurity.
