If you think this is the best future for Fallout then god help us
God Howard has already said that Fallout 76 isn't Fallout 5

It's a project they wanted to try

It's made by Bethesda Austin, not the main. It isn't made to be the next Fallout

It’s fun with mates we had a blast last night killing some scorched beasts and doing a high level dungeon

76 is a good game

"It's a spin off game, who cares if the game is a little glitchy with story errors?"
"This isn't Fallout 5, don't worry!"
Fallout 76 is pretty much what we can expect from 5, a broken mess of a game with little care for story consistency.

If you still have high hopes for the franchise after 4 then I'm p disappointed bro

I'm enjoying 76, glad they're stepping away to something they aren't comfortable with and trying something new. It's given me a fun experience with my pals

Defo isn't worth £50, but it's a fun game nonetheless

I'm saying there is no hope for the franchise, are you retarded?
You need to take a chill pill bro lmao

It's a video game, if you don't like it don't play. Studios don't have to make specific types of games nor do they have to follow specific rules. They can make what they want

It's nice to see a studio branching away from what they're used to

It’s fun for me so whatever I honestly wouldn’t care of the next fallout was just a picture of Todd Howard you paid €60 for because 76 right now is fun so that’s all that matters

NUCLEAR opinion, people buy the games they wanna play

You might think it's shit and a disgrace to the honorable flout franchise but as long as the game is fun and reasonably priced its gonna sell

if anyone seems spasticated it's you yankee

you're not forced to buy the fallout 76 game which is a spin off and in an alternate universe, outside the main FALLOUT lore

sounds like you didn't play the beta either as it was a pretty fun game

76 was pretty shit

buggy riddled mess with people apparently getting their games deleted by a small 'mishap' or having cheat menus and the devs even leaving in the console in the main game and people were spawning in shit (supposedly?)

the fact of the matter isn't enjoyable, it's the fact they're producing a shitty bug filled game with nothing to do long term and people say "I had fun and support the devs" when it's nowhere near completion for a beta test or even a release

I don't pay attention to 76 or care about it other then drivel I hear spewing out of my buddies mouth on how bad it is, it's an objectively unfinished game so I won't try it

play it if you want I'm not some fallout purist just my opinion it's a really shit cash grab and I was hoping that if bethesda was gonna make a FO online deal then they'd do it right

How long did you play it for?

If you want my honest opinion, I played it every single day of the BETA, and half of the time I was alone; yet it was still fun. It was fun getting competitive and racing people to a certain rank to use guns, or taking out people with bounties on their head with a stealth-boy and a sniper rifle. When I was with friends, it was nice to work together on quests and just mess around exploring.

I'll be honest, there were times where I felt like there was nothing to do, but then I'd end up meeting people or finding little areas I hadn't explored yet, and quests I haven't done.

The glitches and bugs I experienced weren't so bad, they were annoying but they weren't game breaking; and honestly I expect there to be bugs in a beta.

So I leave you with this: My idea is that Fallout 76 is only as fun as you make it, as are most multiplayer games, so ask yourself if you really went out and explored, met people, or played with friends. Because that's how the game is meant to be played.

The only bug I really experienced was when my game deleted on the first night, but I appreciate that Bethesda gave us extra days and hours

As far as gameplay went, nothing beat the glass caverns where the five of us found out what happened to the BoS

Won't spoil what, but you can get a BoS under armor there for those looking to find one

A fallout game should not be defined by how fUN it is, the political nature of it must be taken into account about the dangers of nuclear warfare and the ethics of a post-nuclear world after. Black Isles sought to make a while dead and wasted world, feel alive with characters and factions that inhabit it that don't feel out of place and would make sense within the setting. Nuclear weapons should not be played off as a gameplay feature to be used willy nilly, the moment we enter that mind set proves how far detached we are from the horrors it brings.
