for those who don't know

tekkit classic is minecraft 1.2.5 (old now but original tekkit)
tekkit is minecraft 1.6.4 (newer official version but still old now, has lots more to do that tekkit classic)

@einulous I would recommened the normal tekkit (1.6.4), just because the mods are more up to date as well as having more content in general
