Because, at least on the fork map, people like @seal sat hidden in a bush and managed to snipe entire 10+ man groups before people figured out where he was. We'd get people setting up trainings to use smoke grenades and shit, but it couldnt save them

it took me two weeks during 1983 to drill it into most of NATO's fucking tiny skulls NOT to just slowly walk across open fields and to make heavy use of concealment and smoke in combat

it was honestly mind blowing like that's just shit you learn in any semi-realistic FPS
