been quite a year
might just be the booze and the fact that i greeted the new year while baking cookies alone, but i'm in a bit of a sentimental mood. a lot of things have happened to me over the course of the past twelve months, both good and bad. i've lost a lot of my old friends and exited a long-lasting relationship that left me with damaged self-esteem and general trust issues. in the same year, i've explored my renewed interest in writing and other artforms and picked up cooking as a hobby. i've made lots of new friends and reconnected with some old ones and grew the fuck up real quick.
neb's always been in my life to some degree. i've come to think of it as more than just a video game. it's a place where friends (and enemies) collaborate to weave stories like patterns upon a quilt. i hope it sticks around. neb 2019 wooooo
rip 2018. lots of bad things happened. lots of good things happened. let's herald 2019 with big ideas, bright eyes, and open arms.
