Honestly the visuals, sounds, music and story just keep getting better and better with every single episode, it’s absolutely astounding how something that should’ve in theory been awful and untrue to the suffering is basically one of the best shows in most recent years and offers a mostly realistic depiction of the real world events.

I don’t think it gets more kino than this gents.

there is no way they won't renew the show for another series

a show with ratings as good as this cant just be left at 5 episodes

Perhaps they can extend the show with some episodes about some things or some people that are related to Chernobyl, but I doubt about that.

I serve the Universal Union.

i'd like to see a prelude episode before the thing blew up; backstories of the plant operators, families, eventually leading up to the tense moments in the control room & the explosion

from the finale preview, it looks like a lot of it will deal with the control room build up to the explosion, told from Legasov's perspective

The best shows don’t overstay their welcome

They crammed as much amazing television into these episodes as they could and leaving it off like that will make it a legendary show in TV

I can’t wait to see more of the future projects of the directors, writers, actors and other leads of the show

one thing they didn't show in the latest episode is that they didn't just leave the Joker to rot after it died of radiation- At first, they thought it got stuck in rubble, so they send a crew, including that blue overalls guy, to pull it out with a winch, after which they realised it was dead. It's just such a sick and disheartening thing it's hard to believe it actually happened
