I went >override material or whatever it’s called. And when in the other tab where you do that $color shit. I went to gasmask, went to color attribute and put $basetexture.

I’m at work so my explanation is very barebones

i'll stick this here as well as my own art thread seeing as this is the first sfm thing ive done without someone guiding me the whole way through

it's ongoing since i plan to actually add a background eventually when i learn how to

My method of adding background is to take a pic of your model with a white background and no lighting on the model itself, then take another picture with the model lit how you want and make the background like a semi dark grey or green
After that you open the pictures as layers, use the white background one to select the outline of the models, then switch back to the lit picture and cut the outline out of that one
You can then paste it into the background pic of your choice.
