My first attempt at creating a TF2 map

Spoiler: FAR CRY 5 Maps

MAP 1#:
This is the one I am the most proud of, because it looks pretty decent, and it was the highest rated map in all of Far Cry 5 for a few hours once. It contains four different styles, Watch Dogs, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5.

MAP 2:
The first map I uploaded, basically it's a big forest. One team tries to defend the barn in the middle, while the other team comes out of the forest from various angles to try and take the barn down.

nice work! hope to see your skills improve over time. the only advice i could think of is make the long hallway feel less like a square corridor and give it some more detail, like a hole in the wall or some paintings hanging on the wall

Thanks for the tips, I actually did try to do that with the 3 billion decals, the chair, junk and the vent on the roof.

Far Cry 5 is pretty damn simple to use. It‘s practically the map editor from the other Far Cry‘s, but this time you have like 82682727296282 billion assets from different games to use.

About Forge, with mapping I meant just building weird ass geometry and spawning every vehicle and weapon so I can fuck about with my friends in the game.

Another game that just came to mind was Trials: Evolution, where you basically fly around in a big ass map, choose one spot and then build a track for a motorcycle there. I did that a lot back in the day, and it‘s pretty complex, with triggers and everything.

far cry 5 editor

im sad

i was gonna make a map that revolved around scaling a snowy mountain; very vertical, et cetera; but when it came to adding interiors i gave up immediately. its way too hard to flick together interior chamber modules without any form of snapping
